How does MyCells® work? 10 to 20 minutes prior to treatment, your physician
will draw 10 to 20 milliliters of your blood, using a standard
procedure, causing minimal pain (like taking a standard blood test).
Thereafter, he will separate the blood into its ingredients, in a
procedure that will last 10-20 minutes. MyCells® is injected below the
surface of the skin in the area of fat loss and/or wrinkles. MyCells®

What are Shock Waves ? From a physical point of view, shock waves are defined as high-energy acoustic waves. They are very fast pulses of pression ( 2 - 5 millionths of second) with very short peak power (10 billionths of a second) that produce a direct and mechanical force with the main objective to transfer energy on body tissues and to stimulate the repair processes in human tissues. They spread in the tissues following the laws of the impedance, having the maximum transmission in the water. The shock wave should not be confused with the ultrasonic wave that is frequently used both for diagnostic purposes (in the ecography), and for therapeutic purposes (in physical therapy with the ultrasound). Unlike the ultrasound beam, which typically has a biphasic and sinusoidal pattern with a peak pressure of 0.5 bar ( Fig. 2 ), the shock wave, as mentioned, has a pattern and pulse pressure values generated much higher, on average 1000 times higher (about 500 bar against 0.5 bar).
